Dear Grandma and Papa,

I know that you will probably never understand why I walked away from the Lord. It hurts to look at you and know that you have so many questions about who I am, and the choices that I'm making. It hurts to see the wonder and questions in your eyes, instead of the calm sense of knowing. I hate that after knowing me for twenty-three years you might feel like you don't know me.
